Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, expanding market presence, and developing new business opportunities for our company. 

The role focuses on strengthening relationships with key accounts, opening new channels, improving distribution coverage, and contributing to the long-term commercial strategy across toys, baby care products, and school supplies.

Job Holder Profile:

Education & Training Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Sales management or business development certifications are an added advantage.

Technical & Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in FMCG, toys, baby care, or consumer goods.
  • Strong experience in modern trade, key accounts, and distribution management.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Main Accountabilities / Duties:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales growth and market expansion.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, channels, and markets within Egypt.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Coordinate closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to execute promotions, launches, and in-store activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and report insights to management.
  • Participate in pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, and contract agreements.
  • Ensure proper sales forecasting and alignment with supply chain planning.
  • Represent the company in major customer meetings, exhibitions, and trade events.
