Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the tobacco industry, with a proven track record of success in sales management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives
- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the Vice President of Sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to inform sales strategies
- Manage and adhere to budget and expense guidelines
- Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the tobacco industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel as needed
