Position: Senior Financial Control Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Control Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial control and accounting, and will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports

- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes

- Assist with audits and tax filings

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA designation or equivalent

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial control and accounting

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset
