Warehouse Manager

 Job Description:

6th of October, Al Jizah, Egypt (On-site)

Job Objective

  • Plan and organize all matters related to warehouses (raw materials, weighing rooms, finished products, semi-finished products, packaging materials, production supplies, spare parts) and storage spaces, as well as identify required needs.
  • Organize inventory inflow and outflow in accordance with approved procedures, ensuring inventory safety, monitoring stock accuracy, and managing the team effectively.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily movements of all warehouses and coordinate between them to resolve any obstacles.
  • Assist the team in problem-solving, develop role distribution plans, and follow up with assignees to ensure quick solutions and avoid recurring issues.
  • Coordinate among warehouses to maintain balanced workforce competencies and available capabilities, resolve obstacles, and enhance overall performance.
  • Ensure documentation records and item movement entries are correctly made on the Oracle system for accurate and up-to-date stock balances.
  • Monitor inactive inventory items with no movement for more than nine months and prepare reports for the Operations Manager.
  • Follow up on product expiry dates, monitor slow-moving or stagnant products, and prepare reports for the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain inventory safety in compliance with Total Quality Management (TQM) systems.
  • Supervise periodic stocktaking operations across warehouses.
  • Support the disposal of obsolete and expired raw materials by reporting and providing examples of the storage space they occupy to facilitate decision-making.
  • Participate in passing all external inspections successfully.
  • Encode spare parts and tools into the Oracle system.
  • Monitor equipment, machinery, weighing scales, and forklifts under the department, ensuring maintenance and repair procedures are carried out.
  • Set annual objectives for warehouse management aligned with the companys goals.
  • Support the team in adopting new systems and programs that facilitate operations.
  • Implement all company policies and assist the team in compliance.
  • Evaluate and develop team performance.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety procedures within the company.

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of warehouse management experience, at least 5 of which in a similar role.
