Financial Planning/ROI Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Value Realization / ROI Analyst to measure and validate the business value of our AI initiatives. The role will focus on evaluating technology investments, quantifying ROI, defining performance metrics, and tracking business outcomes from the initial business case through implementation and deployment.

You will collaborate with Finance, AI, Product, and business stakeholders to validate assumptions, measure realized benefits and provide data-driven recommendations on whether initiatives should be continued, scaled, reprioritized, or adjusted.

We welcome candidates from SaaS, software, financial analysis, and business consulting backgrounds. Direct AI experience is beneficial, but the ability to translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes is the key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate AI and technology investments.
• Establish baselines and define financial and non-financial KPIs to measure business impact.
• Quantify ROI, cost savings, productivity improvements, revenue impact, and operational efficiencies.
• Track projected versus actual benefits throughout implementation and post-deployment.
• Work with Finance to validate financial assumptions, costs, and realized returns.
• Build reports and dashboards to communicate performance and value realization.
• Identify gaps between expected and actual outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to support investment and prioritization decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ROI analysis, financial modeling, business case development, commercial analysis, or value realization.
• Experience in the SaaS, software, technology, or digital transformation industry.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business and technology initiatives into measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with BI and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or AI-enabled business initiatives and an understanding of their potential business impact.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with Finance, Technology, Product, and business teams.
