Type: 3-Month Contract 

We are looking for a Technical Writer to create installation manuals, user manuals, and supporting documentation for industrial hardware products used in a robotics environment. This role turns engineering content into polished, user-ready documentation.

What You'll Do

• Develop installation manuals for an industrial hardware panel (mounting, wiring, configuration, safety).

• Create customer-facing user manuals and configuration guides.

• Convert engineering notes, diagrams, and SME input into polished documents.

• Interview engineers and SMEs to gather missing technical details.

• Produce supplemental materialsincluding diagrams, quick-start guides, and data sheets.

• Ensure content is accurate, clear, consistent, and aligned with user needs.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years technical writing experience in hardware, industrial, or electro-mechanical environments.

• Strong experience producing installation and user manuals.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and configuration flows.

• Excellent writing and communication skills; able to work independently.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with industrial panels, automation systems, control systems, or robotics.

• Ability to produce supporting diagrams and visual aids.

• Familiarity with modern documentation tools.
