Senior Technical Business Lead

We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Lead to join our Application Development team. This role serves as a critical bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful alignment of IT initiatives with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, deep technical understanding, and proven leadership across complex application development environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily stand-up meetings with the development team.

  • Collaborate with management to address IT business solution needs and challenges.

  • Partner with the application team to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Provide and lead Incident Management and Change Management processes for application support.

  • Deliver weekly status updates on team projects, tasks, and initiatives.

  • Manage and maintain the organizations application inventory, support documentation, and portfolio organization.

  • Review business requirement specifications and support development effort estimations.

  • Participate in the evaluation and adoption of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • Proficiency in DevOps and familiarity with SCRUM, Iterative, and Waterfall development methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy and ServiceNow.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in IT Project Management.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Experience gathering and interpreting data to support business and technical decisions.

  • Broad knowledge of technologies, applications, and industry best practices.

  • Familiarity with security, accessibility, and modernization projects.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
