Loan Origination System Administrator

 Job Description:

Overview: The Loan Origination System Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and optimization of the Banks commercial loan origination system (LOS). This position entails overseeing system administration, generating crucial reports and dashboards, managing user accounts, and facilitating communication with the LOS vendor. The Administrator collaborates with various teams to identify requirements, implement updates, and enhance processes to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. LOS Administration and Updates:
    • Lead the administration of the commercial LOS, ensuring its smooth operation and implementing necessary updates and configurations.
  2. Report Development:
    • Develop and produce both standing and on-demand credit and lender-related reports to provide valuable insights into credit metrics and key risk indicators.
  3. Custom Report Design:
    • Design, run, schedule, and distribute customized LOS reports tailored to specific business needs and requirements.
  4. User Account Management:
    • Manage user account setup and permissions within the LOS, ensuring appropriate access levels are maintained.
  5. System Settings Maintenance:
    • Maintain company and user settings, personas, user groups, and roles within the LOS platform.
  6. Product Enhancement Incorporation:
    • Understand product enhancements and lead their incorporation into client processes to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  7. Feature Exploration:
    • Explore additional features or functionalities within the LOS that are not currently utilized, assessing their potential benefits to the organization.
  8. LOS Usage Monitoring:
    • Monitor LOS usage to meet adoption goals, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Requirements:

  1. Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred.
  2. Experience:

    • Three (3) years of experience in lending/credit, system administration, report writing, project management, core systems, or related activities.
  3. Skills:

    • Strong data analysis skills are essential.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and SQL.
    • Familiarity with banking software.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
