Benefits Specialist

Position Overview:
From day one, youll be responsible for overseeing the processes and procedures that support the efficient, cost-effective administration of global benefit programs, all in alignment with established plan guidelines. In this role, you will lead and support a variety of HR initiatives aimed at optimizing benefits operations and fostering a positive experience for our global workforce. Handling sensitive, confidential information with discretion is essential. To thrive in this position, youll need strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and consistently meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage day-to-day operations of global benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, HSAs, EAPs, and benefits for international teams.

  • Manage leave of absence (LOA) and workers compensation processes, including claims monitoring, compliance with ADA regulations, and return-to-work considerations.

  • Conduct new hire benefit orientations and actively participate in the annual open enrollment process.

  • Support employees by troubleshooting benefit-related issues and navigating the HRIS system (Workday).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field and 23 years of experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and HR experience required.

  • Solid understanding of global benefits administration and applicable leave laws.

  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems; Workday experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional and responsive approach.
