Customer Service Coordinator

 Job Description:

Location: La Vergne, TN (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 4 hours per day

Duration: Initial term of few months anticipated, with potential to extend based on need and fit

Background & Need:

An established manufacturing company is looking to bring on a part-time contractor to temporarily support key customer-facing coordination activities. This position will help bridge communication gaps and maintain project momentum for it's customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments (Production, Quality, Sales, etc.) to gather, compile, and relay accurate project information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding project progress, timelines, and manufacturing status, both via email and over the phone.
  • Coordinate and help facilitate customer site visits to the Lavergne facility.
  • Maintain professional and clear communication with customers, even when under pressure.
  • Support project visibility by staying aligned with multiple active and time-sensitive customer projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong background in customer service or similar client-facing roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle occasionally demanding customers professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Comfortable interfacing with various departments and stakeholders to gather necessary project details.
  • Looking specifically for part-time work and able to work onsite in Lavergne, TN.

Support and Oversight:

  • The contractor will receive initial training and ongoing oversight from internal company team members.
