Power Systems Engineer – Medium Voltage Distribution

Location: Canton, Ohio (Relocation Available)

A leading U.S. manufacturer with large-scale industrial operations is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support and modernize the medium-voltage electrical infrastructure that powers a major manufacturing campus.

This is a highly visible engineering role responsible for ensuring the reliability, protection, and performance of critical power distribution systems supporting complex industrial operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead projects involving medium-voltage power distribution systems and substations
  • Support relay protection and protection control upgrades
  • Analyze power system performance and recommend reliability improvements
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex electrical power distribution issues
  • Partner with plant engineering teams to support electrical infrastructure across the facility

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with medium-voltage power distribution systems
  • Background in relay protection / protection controls
  • Experience with substations, electrical infrastructure, or industrial power systems
  • Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree
  • Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment

Preferred Background
Candidates often come from industries such as utilities, power generation, transmission & distribution, metals manufacturing, chemical plants, or other large industrial facilities.
