Power Systems Engineer – Medium Voltage Distribution
Location: Canton, Ohio (Relocation Available)
A leading U.S. manufacturer with large-scale industrial operations is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support and modernize the medium-voltage electrical infrastructure that powers a major manufacturing campus.
This is a highly visible engineering role responsible for ensuring the reliability, protection, and performance of critical power distribution systems supporting complex industrial operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead projects involving medium-voltage power distribution systems and substations
- Support relay protection and protection control upgrades
- Analyze power system performance and recommend reliability improvements
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex electrical power distribution issues
- Partner with plant engineering teams to support electrical infrastructure across the facility
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with medium-voltage power distribution systems
- Background in relay protection / protection controls
- Experience with substations, electrical infrastructure, or industrial power systems
- Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
