The IT Asset Management Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware and software) from procurement through disposal. This is a hands-on role that ensures assets are managed efficiently, securely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

The role will lead and mentor a team of ITAM analysts, maintain accurate asset inventories, and drive improvements in processes, tools, and data quality across the ITAM program.

Responsibilities

• Managing procurement, tracking, deployment, and retirement of IT assets
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting audits
• Developing and improving ITAM policies, procedures, and governance
• Partnering with business, technology, and security teams to optimize asset management and reduce risk
• Producing executive reporting and scorecards
• Ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry frameworks

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of IT Asset Management experience in an enterprise environment, strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders and leadership while guiding a team.
