We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Collections Supervisor to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing a portion of our collections portfolio, leading a team of collectors, and ensuring the efficient recovery of delinquent accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and work assigned queues of delinquent accounts.
  • Work 60-70 accounts daily, actively pursuing past due payments.
  • Provide guidance, support, and answer questions for the collections team.
  • Conduct weekly reports and contribute to departmental objectives.
  • Evaluate collector phone calls, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve call culture and performance.
  • Potentially serve as a backup repossession specialist, handling related paperwork and phone calls.
  • Contribute to achieving team goals related to delinquency, charge-offs, and non-accrual metrics.

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position with a rotating monthly schedule.
  • Typical start time is 7:30 AM.
  • Weekly hours include a mix of earlier days (until 4:00 PM) and later days (until 5:00 PM).
  • Required to work one Saturday per month, which is paid as overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a collections or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of various account types, with a willingness to learn specific products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective coaching and feedback.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Resilience and a professional demeanor when dealing with challenging account interactions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $34,500 to $57,000 + incentive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
