HRIS Analyst
Job Description:
About the Role
Configure, enhance, and maintain the HRIS to support core HR functions, including onboarding, benefits, compensation, performance management, and succession planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and other employee services.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures for benefit processes, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage data and documentation required for compliance activities (ACA, Form 5500, audits, COBRA, FSA/DCA, etc.).
- Oversee vendor billing, data collection, and updates to management reports.
- Advise and support employees, dependents, and HR Business Partners with day-to-day benefits inquiries.
- Assist in planning, communicating, and executing annual open enrollment and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely benefit records in the HRIS (UKG), including new elections, qualifying life events, and terminations.
- Oversee COBRA administration and related vendor reporting.
- Coordinate leave of absence processes (FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.) by partnering with vendors and communicating with internal departments.
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in human resources or other related field required or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in benefit administration
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with UKG HRIS platform
- 1+ years of compensation experience required
