Maintenance Officer - Aged Care Facility
Location: Kirwan, QLD
Hours: 8:00am 4:30pm (Full-time)

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our friendly team in an aged care facility located in Kirwan. This role is essential in ensuring our residents live in a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the facility.

• Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections.

• Liaise with external contractors when required.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work.

• Ensure all work complies with safety and aged care standards.

About You:

• Proven experience in a general maintenance, handyman, or trade role.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.

• Knowledge of WHS regulations and safe work practices.

• Good communication skills and a respectful approach when working around elderly residents.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
