About the Role
Were seeking a detail-oriented Workplace Compliance Coordinator to join our HR & Compliance division. Reporting to the Group HR and Compliance Manager, you will assist with audits, monitor workplace practices, and help ensure compliance with legislation, safety obligations, and company policies across corporate and franchise sites.
This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in workplace compliance, with a strong focus on auditing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with workplace compliance audits across corporate and franchise locations in line with the Compliance Audit Program.
- Monitor adherence to Fair Work Act 2009, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards, and WHS obligations.
- Apply a structured, risk-based approach to auditing under guidance from senior staff.
- Help prepare evidence-based audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Track and support implementation of audit recommendations.
- Provide basic compliance advice to managers and staff as directed.
- Promote a culture of accountability, fairness, and integrity across operations.
About You
- Interest in workplace compliance, auditing, or HR, with some practical or academic exposure preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards, and WHS legislation is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes.
- Good analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders.
- Professional integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
- Highly favourable: Proficiency in Hindi or Punjabi to engage effectively with diverse franchise and employee groups.
