Our client is a global logistics and warehousing company specializing in handling commodities across multiple sectors, including metals and soft commodities. As part of the operations team, played a key role in managing large-scale inventory and ensuring seamless daily operations in a facility aligned with international warehousing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, overseeing the movement and storage of commodities.
• Oversee team performance to ensure staff meet operational targets while maintaining safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records, ensuring cargo is handled according to industry and regulatory standards.
• Plan and optimize warehouse space utilization to support efficient cargo flow and reduce congestion.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to streamline operations and minimize delays.
• Implement cost control strategies to reduce demurrage and detention charges through proactive planning and execution.
• Operate effectively, ensuring all activities are completed smoothly and meet both client and operational requirements.
