Our client, located in Kota Kemuning is a leading manufacturer of high-quality cakes, bread, and pastries, dedicated to delivering fresh and delicious baked goods to consumers and businesses alike. With a commitment to excellence, they specialize in supplying premium bakery products to cafes, restaurants, and retailers, both locally and internationally. They are currently seeking an Factory Manager to support their operations in Malaysia.

Job Overview:

To leverage experience to ensure success in production management, quality control, and operational excellence. Creating a significant impact on the company's growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output.
  • Maintain and improve quality management systems, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and GMPC.
  • Utilize 6S methodology and other best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Guide and motivate production teams to achieve targets and continually improve processes.
  • Contribute to long-term production strategies and implement innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.

What Were Looking For:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a factory manager in food and beverage, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, GMPC, 6S, and other relevant quality management systems.
  • An associate degree or higher in production management, quality management, logistics management, industrial engineering, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus, along with general computer literacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to think strategically to drive improvements.
  • Committed, mature, and able to work independently and under pressure when needed.
