Florida, Florida, United States

Regional Field Sales Manager, Southeast

 Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning, family-owned luxury cruise line with more than two decades in the ultra-luxury small-ship market and one of the most loyal guest followings in travel. Their yachts carry roughly one hundred guests and slip into harbors the large ships cannot reach, which makes the product a pleasure to sell. The fleet is expanding and the US commercial organization is being built out now.

They are hiring a Regional Manager for Field Sales across the Southeast. You will be the face of the brand to travel advisors in your territory: building relationships, growing bookings, and being the person an advisor calls when they have a client worth taking care of. There is a defined path to Director as the commercial organization grows.

The territory

Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. The role is remote and based in territory.

What you will do

  • Own the revenue number for the Southeast and build the territory plan that delivers it
  • Grow and manage relationships with luxury travel advisors, agency owners and consortia members across the ten states
  • Find and develop new selling agencies, and convert advisors who have never sold the product before
  • Run advisor training, agency presentations, webinars and one to one product education so advisors know how to position it
  • Represent the brand at consortia conferences, trade shows and regional events
  • Host ship inspections and fam trips, and turn them into bookings
  • Keep accurate pipeline and activity records, and report honestly on what is working

What we are looking for

  • Field sales experience in luxury travel, cruise, tour operating or luxury hospitality, selling through travel advisors
  • Existing relationships with luxury travel advisors in the Southeast are a strong advantage
  • A consultative, relationship-first style. This is a long sales cycle built on trust, not a transactional one
  • Comfort working independently and running your own calendar against a number
  • Confidence presenting to a room of advisors and to an agency owner one on one
  • Willingness to travel across the territory regularly, with overnight stays

Why people take this job

Advisors already love this product; what it lacks is enough people telling them about it. The territory is wide open, the brand has the awards and the guest loyalty to open doors, and the company is small enough that a good regional manager becomes genuinely influential rather than one line in a national report.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability, life, and long-term care coverage
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick and personal days, company holidays, floating holidays, and bereavement leave
  • 2 Weeks of yachting for you and a companion, per year
  • Friends and family sailing rates after six months of employment
