Electrical Estimator

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Electrical Estimator with strong communication skills and advanced proficiency in estimating tools. This role focuses on commercial and light industrial electrical projects and requires expertise in cost analysis, take-offs, and trade coordination.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical estimating (commercial and light industrial projects)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating software/tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for electrical scopes of work
• Analyze and evaluate trade partner/vendor proposals, identifying risks and opportunities
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposal summaries
• Support estimating for self-perform scopes such as specialties, carpentry, millwork, and finishes
• Maintain strong relationships with trade partners and suppliers
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and leadership regarding project risks and scope gaps
• Ensure all estimates are accurate, organized, and aligned with project requirements
