Spotter
About the job Spotter
Spotters are responsible for lift safety support — caution-taping active work areas and directing foot traffic away from zones where aerial work is in progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe while techs are working from or operating lifts
- Establish and maintain caution-taped safety perimeters around active lift and aerial work zones
- Direct foot traffic away from work areas to protect both site personnel and the public during lift operations
- Maintain alertness and situational awareness in active warehouse and sort center environments
- Follow all safety requirements set by the company, the customer, and OSHA at every site
- Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel throughout the workday
Required Qualifications
- Reliable personal vehicle required to travel to initial training location
- Available to work within a 9pm to 6am shift window — NIGHTS
- Comfortable working in large, active warehouse and logistics facility environments
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow safety and site-access protocols consistently
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Own PPE - Class E Rated hardhat, Safety toed boots, Safety Glasses, Hi-Vis vest/shirt
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a construction, warehouse, or industrial site support role
- Familiarity with basic jobsite safety practices and PPE requirements
- Comfortable working around lift equipment and aerial work operations
- Prior experience working in large-scale logistics or fulfillment facility environments
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $15 to $20 per hour based on experience
