About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Foreman to lead installation teams on a variety of low-voltage security projects, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and related security systems. This role oversees day-to-day field operations, ensures quality installations, coordinates with project managers, and supports technicians in the field.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on installation skills, can read and interpret plans, and knows how to manage crews while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise security installation crews on commercial and residential projects

  • Install, program, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints, risers, wiring diagrams, and scope documents

  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Project Manager to ensure job progress and deadlines are met

  • Ensure all installations meet company standards, industry best practices, and AHJ requirements

  • Conduct site walks to identify needs, material requirements, and potential issues

  • Train, mentor, and support technicians in proper installation techniques

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols

  • Complete daily reports, track material usage, and communicate updates clearly

  • Interface with clients, general contractors, and other trades as needed on-site

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience installing security or low-voltage systems

  • 12 years of experience in a lead or foreman role (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, card readers, maglocks, door hardware integration, intrusion alarms, cabling, and terminations

  • Ability to supervise crews, delegate tasks, and maintain project momentum

  • Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans

  • Familiar with low-voltage codes, NEC, and local AHJ requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

  • Good communication and leadership abilities

  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
