We're looking for an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of fire alarm, nurse call, and security system installations inside live healthcare environments. You'll own the project from kickoff to closeout — managing the budget, the client relationship, the field team, and the inspections. This is a senior role that requires someone who has actually done the work, not just managed spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Oversee all phases of low-voltage and fire life safety installations in healthcare facilities
  • Track project financials, including cost control, budget forecasting, billing, and WIP adjustments
  • Review contracts and specs to ensure deliverables align with the scope
  • Coordinate material procurement and manage delivery timelines
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact — leading meetings, providing updates, and resolving issues
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Manage pre-inspections and final inspections with the AHJ to ensure code compliance
  • Identify and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support estimators and account executives during job walks and proposals as a technical resource
  • Assign tasks, monitor team productivity, and support field technician development
  • Build and maintain client relationships that drive repeat business

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in construction and/or low-voltage installation
  • 5+ years installing low-voltage systems in healthcare environments, specifically fire life safety
  • 5+ years in a leadership or project management role High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver's license and current auto insurance

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, drive, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Extended driving (2+ hours per shift) and regular site visits to hospitals and medical facilities
  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sites, commercial buildings, and live patient care areas

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $115,000 – $133,000 depending on experience
