Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lighting Project Manager Assistant to support our electrical lighting PM team. The right candidate will bring a solid understanding of commercial lighting scopes, material lists, and project coordination fundamentals, and will be confident managing priorities and communicating across all phases of a project.

This is an in-office role reporting to the Project Manager Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the electrical lighting PM with day-to-day project coordination tasks
  • Review and interpret customer purchase orders and ensure accuracy against project scope
  • Track and communicate project schedules and priority shifts across all phases of commercial lighting work
  • Monitor material needs and assist with managing typical commercial lighting material lists
  • Coordinate internal communications to keep project milestones on track
  • Flag scheduling conflicts, scope changes, and delivery issues proactively
  • Maintain organized project documentation and assist with reporting as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of commercial electrical lighting scope of work and typical material components
  • Ability to read and understand customer POs and project documentation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
  • Self-directed and confident working independently with minimal oversight
  • Prior experience in an electrical, construction, or project coordination role preferred

Benefits and Compensation

  • Pay rate: $23–$29/hr depending on experience
  • Monday–Friday schedule, consistent in-office hours
