Position Overview:

We're seeking a Database & Network Engineer with hands-on experience configuring CQL, installing layers of switches, and integrating network infrastructure with IP-based systems such as ESS, access control, and CCTV. This field-based role supports commercial and government sites requiring reliable and secure system deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure CQL and support database environments tied to ESS and security platforms.

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, including core/access switch layers.

• Terminate and test Cat6 cable, punch down patch panels, and manage structured cabling.

• Install and integrate network equipment, switch racks, and routers in commercial environments.

• Deploy and support IP-based CCTV and access control systems (including card readers, cameras, and badge systems).

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across LAN/WAN and connected devices.

• Collaborate with field teams on ESS integration, including system databases and device management.

• Handle small to mid-size projects independently and provide accurate site documentation.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in network infrastructure and IP-based security systems.

• Proficient in CQL, LAN/WAN protocols, and network switch installations.

• Familiarity with ESS, CCTV, and access control devices, including configuration and support.

• Able to troubleshoot connectivity, database, and hardware-related issues.

• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $35 - $46/hr
