  1. We're seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Technician to assist with a short-term project in Oceanside, CA. This position will last approximately 1 to 2 months and offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience. We are seeking candidates who are familiar with installing intrusion alarm panels, preferred experience with DMP panels. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data cable installation and termination (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.)
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and testing of network infrastructure
  • Label, route, and organize cables to meet project specifications
  • Follow installation diagrams, blueprints, or floor plans
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Perform site cleanup and adhere to safety protocols
  • Support any additional duties as required by the project lead or supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in data cabling, IT infrastructure, or low-voltage installation preferred
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working on ladders
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents or schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Must have reliable transportation to job sites in the Phoenix area
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours during the project duration (typically Monday through Friday, with some flexibility depending on workload)
