Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Carpenter to support our reconstruction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work independently. This role involves collaborating with estimators, leading projects, and mentoring junior carpenters.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete reconstruction tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in developing project scopes with estimators.
  • Mentor entry-level carpenters and guide their skill development.
  • Perform skilled work including framing, cabinetry, trim, doors, insulation, ceilings, roofing, and siding.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite, including containment of dust and debris.
  • Identify and handle different insulation types, thicknesses, and R-values.
  • Provide emergency services as needed, including board-ups and property stabilization.
  • Safely move and protect contents during work.
  • Conduct daily vehicle and tool inspections; maintain clean and functional equipment.
  • Attend safety and operational training as required.
  • Accurately track and report hours worked and materials used.

Requirements

  • Strong carpentry experience in residential and commercial settings.
  • Ability to lead basic-level carpenters and supervise unskilled labor or subcontractors.
  • Comfortable performing emergency service work and handling urgent repairs.
  • Clear understanding of construction safety and customer service principles.
  • Availability for occasional night and weekend work, and periodic travel.
  • Must provide your own steel-toe boots (PPE kit provided).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $25$ - 35/hr based on experience and tools.
