About the job Low Voltage Project Manager
We're seeking a detail-oriented Low Voltage Project Manager with strong experience in structured cabling within healthcare environments to lead multiple projects across the INOVA hospital campuses. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of working in active hospital settings, including ICRA, patient safety protocols, and coordinating with multiple trades under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee structured cabling projects at various INOVA hospital campuses, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all healthcare construction standards.

Coordinate daily activities with foremen, technicians, subcontractors, and hospital staff to maintain project flow with minimal disruption to hospital operations.

Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical documents to lead installation efforts of Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optic cable, cable trays, racks, and patch panels.

Ensure compliance with ICRA guidelines and maintain proper safety procedures throughout all phases of work.

Provide regular updates to internal teams and hospital stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication regarding project timelines, materials, and site conditions.

Track project progress, manage change orders, and handle documentation, including RFI responses, punch lists, and closeout packages.

Maintain inventory, manage project budgets, and forecast labor/material needs across multiple job sites.

Perform site walks, QA/QC inspections, and provide leadership to low-voltage crews and subcontractors.
Qualifications:

3+ years of project management experience in low voltage/structured cabling, ideally in healthcare or other critical environments.

Proven track record managing multi-site projects, preferably within hospital systems.

Strong knowledge of cabling standards (TIA/EIA), NEC code, and healthcare construction protocols (ICRA).

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Comfortable working in live healthcare environments with discretion and professionalism.

OSHA 30 preferred.

PMP, RCDD, or BICSI certifications are a plus.
