Job description

  • Servicing electrical systems for our commercial clients.
  • Responsible for responding to all service calls on a rotation schedule.
  • Create and send all material lists to the installation department.
  • Communicate with the management team.
  • Generate leads for upgrades on new electrical systems.
  • Provide recommendations to the client on repairs, replacement, and upgrades on electrical systems.
  • Perform repairs and new installations of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose Commercial Electrical systems.
  • Increase client loyalty by maintaining clean work areas and setting a good example for other electricians.
  • Install and connect electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
  • Provide Clients with exceptional customer service and information about repairs and system upgrades.
  • Maintain work truck and kept van always organized and neat.
  • Follow the National Electric Code (NEC) and be confident in your quality of work.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current California (CA) State Journeyman License
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with electrical systems, servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System.
  • Ability to read blueprints, run conduit, wire, and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshoot Commercial electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
  • Detail oriented with good time management skills.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to provide references to verify reliability, work quality, and consistency.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Year round work
