CCTV Service and Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, upgrade, and program CCTV systems using building plans and electrical layouts.
- Perform break-fix service within defined service level agreements.
- Mount and install sensors, cabling, and control panels in commercial buildings, including crawlspaces, attics, and through concrete walls.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards (NFPA 70, NFPA 72, etc.).
- Test and troubleshoot newly installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Run low-voltage cabling and complete terminations and connections.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with customers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with CCTV systems installation and service.
- Valid state-issued Physical Security or Life Safety license (as applicable).
- Ability to read blueprints and site maps.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Experience with CCTV, voice/data cabling, switches, WiFi, and routers is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work weekends.
- Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean record.
- Certified to operate boom or scissor lifts and comfortable working at heights.
- Own basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation.
