Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, commission, and troubleshoot security systems, including control panels, access control, video surveillance, and structured cabling.

  • Work on diverse and high-impact projects across government, multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

  • Interpret and implement system designs from architects, engineers, and client specifications.

  • Lead or support team members with clear documentation, detailed reporting, and organized workflows.

  • Create and follow detailed work plans, ensuring timely and accurate installation and maintenance.

  • Offer technical support to clients and internal teams, resolving field issues quickly and professionally.

  • Ensure all installations meet safety codes, industry standards, and client expectations.

  • Track time, expenses, and material usage to assist with project budgeting and client billing.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the security and low-voltage industry.

  • Certified in Software House CCURE (this is a must-have requirement).

  • Experience with Lenel and Milestone systems.

  • Comfortable programming and configuring access control and video surveillance systems.

  • Proficiency with tools and test equipment used in the installation and maintenance of security systems.

  • Additional certifications preferred: I-Pro, Dorma Kaba, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, Avigilon, or fiber optics.

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid driver's license and OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).

  • Proficient with computers and mobile devices.
