Were looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager in the Orange County area to oversee diverse projects and large commercial buildings. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with strong expertise in fire alarm system design, layout, and code compliance, as well as a sharp focus on accurate scheduling and job costing to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of fire alarm projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Work collaboratively with the design team to expedite project design phases and submissions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product lines to enhance project quality and performance.
  • Effectively manage project-related documentation, including permits and contracts.
  • Supervise the Fire Alarm Superintendent, coordinating efforts and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Administer change orders and process contracts with precision.
  • Display comprehensive knowledge of the budget to manage costs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Strong grasp of design and layout for Fire Alarm Systems.
  • General electrical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in reading plans and excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Nice to Haves:

  • Certifications and experience with Notifier, Fike, or Kidde Fire Alarm Systems.
  • NICET Level 2 certification

  • Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000, dependent on experience, licensing or certifications.
