Low Voltage Estimator Cabling/Security Systems

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Cabling/Security department. Experience in AV is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will have 510 years of field experience and strong knowledge in cabling and security systems, with a solid understanding of construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret floor plans to prepare accurate estimates for cabling and security projects

• Communicate effectively with clients via email, text, phone, and in person

• Utilize Bluebeam for takeoffs (required), and work with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Meet project deadlines, including working nights or weekends when necessary

• Prepare estimates in compliance with client requirements and industry standards

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project accuracy and timeliness

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 510 years of field experience in cabling and security

• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Proficiency in Bluebeam (required); CAD experience preferred

• D-Tools experience a plus

• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of construction practices and site workflows

• Certifications from manufacturers such as CommScope, Leviton, Bertek, Corning, etc.

• RCDD credential a plus (design experience highly valued)
