We are seeking a service coordinator to support our building automation service team on a temporary basis. This role is based in Tucson, AZ, and is responsible for managing service calls, scheduling technicians, and ensuring the timely completion of service agreements and projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the scheduling of specialists for all service agreements.
  • Oversee day-to-day scheduling for emergency and time & material (T&M) projects.
  • Receive, verify for accuracy, and enter service work orders and employee timesheets.
  • Process and execute orders received for spare parts, ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the material coordinator to maintain accurate employee truck stock levels and expedite material replacements efficiently.
  • Address customer satisfaction concerns, working with internal teams to maximize service quality.
  • Invoice for spare parts daily and T&M work on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with the collections department to ensure timely payments for T&M, service agreements, and service construction.
  • Work with the material coordinator to optimize material order timing, maximizing cash flow and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal installation teams to ensure cost-effective and timely installations.
  • Provide support to internal teams and other contractors to resolve building operating issues beyond the controls or special systems operation.
  • Communicate with internal employees to ensure accurate labor tracking and productivity goals are met.
  • Assist in estimating, designing, installing, starting up, commissioning, and training for building systems as needed.
  • Engage with external organizations, such as consulting engineers, building owners, and contractors, to facilitate accurate and timely engineering.
  • Support ongoing service engineering and provide technical assistance for existing building systems.
  • Maintain and update the service management system to maximize productivity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Experience and expertise including but not limited to:
    • Understanding of basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic computer issues.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to empathize with customer concerns and effectively resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.

Position Details

  • Location: Tuscon, AZ (onsite role)
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, standard business hours
  • Industry: Building automation/facilities services

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $20 - $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Weekly pay.
  • Medical benefits on day 1.
