Security Service Technician
A well-established security systems integrator is hiring a security service technician to support commercial customers through service calls, scheduled maintenance, and small projects. If you like troubleshooting, clean installs, and leaving systems better than you found them—this security service technician role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Respond to service tickets, scheduled maintenance, and occasional after-hours calls as a security service technician
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components across access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
Program, test, and commission systems; isolate issues in hardware, software, and networking
Complete clear, accurate service documentation for customers and internal tracking
Handle small upgrades, minor installs, and system optimizations as a security service technician
Partner with teammates to cross-train and improve service operations
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
Relevant field service
CCTV experience: Milestone / Genetec
Access Control experience: AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House - CCURE / S2
Intrusion experience: DMP / Bosch
Requirements
3–5+ years servicing/programming/integrating electronic security systems (especially access control)
Solid troubleshooting and programming skills (you’re the “find it and fix it” security service technician)
Comfortable with hand/power tools and basic mechanical/electrical work
Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
Local travel to job sites; minimal overnight travel may occur
