Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to help lead core accounting functions with a strong emphasis month-end closing, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. This role ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and reviewing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end and year-end close, including preparation of accounting schedules and journal entries.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Assist with external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations are prepared for balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
• Liaise with Accounting/Finance leadership to continue to improve and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification a plus).
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting entries and maintain financial records.
• Minimum 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
