Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Specialist with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end closing processes. This role is key to ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage billing, invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Reconcile customer/vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all receivables and payables.
- Support preparation of annual budgets and perform variance analysis.
- Preparation of Monthly Payroll
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date and well-organized accounting records and ledgers.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Generate periodic financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc.).
- Familiarity with accounting software, (Odoo Preferably)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skill
