Position: Local Registered Nurse

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The contract will be for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a local medical facility. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient needs

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

• Educate patients and their families on health issues, treatments, and medications

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of PA

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

• Current CPR certification
