Job Title: Senior Middleware Engineer (IBM & Oracle)

Years of Experience

6–10 years of implementation/support experience on enterprise middleware on AS400, Unix (AIX, Solaris), Linux, Windows Server

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise middleware platforms across AS400, Unix (AIX, Solaris), Linux, and Windows Server environments
• Perform middleware installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching activities
• Handle application deployment and ensure validation across middleware platforms
• Design, implement, and maintain middleware clustering for high availability and scalability
• Monitor system performance and carry out performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Support day-to-day operations, incident management, and problem resolution for middleware systems
• Work closely with stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and project delivery
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and standard operating procedures
• Ensure system stability, reliability, and adherence to enterprise standards

Key Requirements

1. Strong experience in IBM WAS, Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss / Red Hat EAP, IBM MQ, Apache, HTTP Server
2. Strong understanding of platform administration
3. Experience in middleware clustering
4. Performance tuning & troubleshooting
5. Expertise in middleware installation, configuration & upgrade, application deployment validation
6. Strong stakeholder coordination
7. Fluent in English communication. Bahasa Melayu is added advantage
8. Good in technical documentation writing
