Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled WeChat App Developer with strong expertise in API integration to join our digital transformation team in the logistics sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving customer engagement and operational efficiency through the design and development of WeChat Mini Programs and Official Accounts that integrate seamlessly with logistics systems, including shipment tracking, customer service, and warehouse management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WeChat Mini Programs supporting logistics functions such as real-time tracking, delivery updates, and customer support.
• Integrate WeChat applications with internal systems (TMS, WMS, CRM) and external APIs (payment gateways, maps, customs clearance platforms).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams logistics, customer service, and IT to translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
• Implement secure data exchange, encryption, and user authentication protocols.
• Optimize app performance for high-volume transactions and ensure reliability across multiple devices and network conditions.
• Monitor and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on WeChat ecosystem developments, logistics technology trends, and relevant regulatory or cross-border compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile/web application development, with at least 12 years focused on WeChat Mini Programs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, WXML, WXSS, and WeChat Developer Tools.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JSON/XML.
• Familiarity with logistics systems such as TMS, WMS, ERP, or similar platforms.
• Experience in backend development using Node.js, Java, C#, or Python.
• Understanding of logistics operations such as last-mile delivery, inventory control, and customer notifications.
• Strong command of English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for engaging with Chinese platforms and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WeChat Pay integration and secure transaction management.
• Knowledge of location-based services, QR code scanning, and push notifications within WeChat.
• Understanding of supply chain visibility tools and IoT system integrations.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in multi-location or cross-time-zone DevOps environments.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple logistics-related projects simultaneously.
