What we are looking for:
Were looking for a Sales Leader (Senior Manager based in Malaysia to drive growth across high-volume semiconductor fabs, OSATs, and IDMs in Southeast Asiaespecially those still relying on manual classification or rule-based systems in yield and quality operations. Youll be instrumental in building relationships, educating stakeholders, and closing deals that bring AI into mission-critical manufacturing lines. You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in manufacturing and AI, and you'll make a tangible impact on the future of this industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Target high-volume fabs, OSATs, and IDMs in SEAparticularly those running advanced packaging lines (WLCSP, eWLB, FC, etc.) but still reliant on manual review for yield/quality improvement.
- Bring a strong network of decision-makers across semiconductor manufacturingespecially VPs of Operations, Directors of Yield or Quality Assurance, AOI Managers, and Digital Transformation Leads.
- Understand and articulate clients value in defect classification, RCA, and disposition. Familiarity with AOI/AVI tools, SEM review processes, and inspection workflows is a strong advantage.
- Own the end-to-end sales processfrom lead qualification to closing dealswith stakeholders across operations, IT, procurement, and factory leadership.
- Use structured qualification frameworks (like MEDDIC) and maintain data-driven pipeline reporting to ensure transparency and predictability
- Translate manufacturing pain points into concrete ROI argumentse.g., cycle time savings, yield recovery, or operator cost reduction.
- Earn trust, identify internal champions, and guide customers through their AI adoption journey across multiple sites and use cases.
Job Requirements:
- Location: Based in Malaysia, with willingness to travel across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
- Industry Network: Strong existing relationships with key decision-makers at semiconductor fabs, OSATs, and IDMs (e.g., VPs of Operations, Directors of QA/Yield, AOI leads).
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of closing complex, six-figure enterprise deals involving long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments and workflowsespecially in defect inspection (AOI, AVI, SEM) and advanced packaging (e.g., WLCSP, eWLB, Flip-Chip).
- Solution Selling: Ability to sell consultatively by identifying customer pain points and co-building ROI/business cases.
- Self-Starter: Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Structured Sales Methodology: Experience using qualification frameworks like MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
