Technical Lead

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to drive large-scale infrastructure and data center migration initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams across platforms, databases, middleware, and networking to deliver end-to-end migration programs in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams (platform, database, middleware, network)
• Define and execute end-to-end migration strategies (e.g., lift-and-shift, phased migration)
• Develop and own detailed migration runbooks, including rollback and contingency planning
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Oversee system integration, testing, and validation during migration phases
• Identify risks and resolve technical issues in high-pressure cutover environments
• Ensure minimal downtime and business continuity during migration

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Lead role
• Proven experience leading at least one large-scale infrastructure or data center migration
• Strong cross-domain knowledge of:
  • Platforms (Linux/Windows)
  • Databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Middleware (e.g., WebLogic, WebSphere)
  • Networking and system integration
• Experience in defining migration approaches and developing runbooks
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills under high-pressure environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills in English
• Bahasa Melayu proficiency is an advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in data center migration projects
• Exposure to cloud migration (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with automation or migration tools
