Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of the construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes overseeing the project team, coordinating all project activities, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of foundation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead and supervise a team of engineers, contractors, and laborers.
- Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure the proper selection and procurement of materials and equipment.
- Maintain open communication with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Resolve project issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, cost reports, and other necessary documentation to stakeholders.
- Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, preferably in foundation or piling works.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
