Job Summary:
The Revenue Director is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue, profitability, and market share through strategic pricing, inventory management, and data-driven decision-making. This role oversees all revenue streams, analyzes market trends, and collaborates with sales, marketing, and operations to optimize financial performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5- 6 years in hotel revenue management
- Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME)
- Must be able to utilize RMS, CRS, PMS to analyze trends and forecast demand
- Must be able to monitor KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, market penetration) and adjust tactics accordingly
- Working knowledge of adjusting room rates and restrictions in real-time based on demand, competitor pricing, and market conditions
- Develop and implement pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies to achieve RevPAR, GOP, and market share goals
- Lead the revenue management team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making
- Present revenue forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership
- Expertise in RMS, PMS, CRS, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros) and statistical modeling
- Working knowledge of budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost-control measures
- Conduct SWOT analyses and benchmark against competitors
- Monitor economic, tourism, and event trends impacting demand
- Advise on long-term strategies (e.g., new revenue streams, repositioning)
- Oversee group and transient business mix to maximize profitability.
- All interested expatriate applicants MUST have atleast one (1) year experience working in Jamaica.
- All interested expatriate applicants MUST have experience working in the Caribbean.
