This is a full-time permanent position based on the North Island.
Offers an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist with appropriate competence and experience to join our multidisciplinary team in Nga Rau Rakau, Intensive Mental Health Service.

The focus of the role is to provide; assessment, care, and therapeutic interventions to people experiencing acute mental illness. We are looking for someone who is passionate, and committed as the scope of the role will allow service development opportunities around increased integration with the community.

Our service is committed to providing timely, locally delivered, high quality and effective interventions that maximise mental health of people affected by mental health and addiction issues.

Applicant Requirements

- Our ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of professionals.
- You will need to have strong communication skills and an ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team.
- A mature, confident, and empathetic outlook is essential for the role.
- As per COVID-19 Public Health Response Amendment Act (No 2) 2021, We require ALL its employees to be both fully vaccinated against COVID-19 which now includes boosters.
