A leading PropTech company is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Executive to drive national sales operations and lead commercial growth strategies. This role blends data-driven analysis with hands-on sales leadership to increase revenue, expand market share, and optimize go-to-market strategies.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and develop the national sales team to achieve revenue targets
  • Design and implement sales strategies for real estate clients and agents
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and growth channels

Commercial Strategy & Data Analysis

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy

  • Develop financial models and performance forecasts

  • Use CRM and analytics tools to drive insight-led sales decisions

  • Collaborate across product, marketing, finance, and people teams

  • Ensure compliance with regulations including POPIA

Revenue Growth & Business Optimization

  • Create scalable sales structures and processes

  • Optimize the sales funnel and lead-to-close process

  • Align marketing campaigns with sales growth targets

  • Drive initiatives to increase revenue and profitability

Client Experience & Retention

  • Oversee sales support, account management, and onboarding

  • Ensure exceptional client experience and retention

  • Represent the customer voice to inform product improvements

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare reports on revenue, pipeline, and market opportunities for EXCO/Board
  • Monitor budgets and resource efficiency

  • Contribute to strategic planning and company-wide initiative

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in either Business, Commerce, Real Estate, or Marketing or similar.
  • MBA or related Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel and BI skills with proficiency in CRM and sales pipeline tools.
  • Outstanding communication, networking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and commercial strategy roles.
  • Preferred real estate industry experience, with in-depth knowledge of property sales cycles, trends, and client personas.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering on aggressive revenue targets.
  • Previous experience in PropTech, SaaS, or tech-enabled environments preferred.
