Buyer – Fashion Retail

We are seeking a trend-driven and commercially astute Buyer to join our fashion retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who can translate global trends into compelling product ranges that resonate with our customer and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute product strategies aligned to brand direction and customer needs
• Source and build commercially successful ranges across assigned categories
• Analyse sales, trends, and customer insights to inform buying decisions
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and product development
• Work closely with Merchandise Planning to ensure optimal stock levels and profitability
• Monitor in-season trading and react quickly to maximise opportunities
• Travel (locally and/or internationally) for sourcing, supplier meetings, and trend research
• Ensure product quality, pricing, and margin targets are achieved

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Buyer within fashion retail
• Strong commercial acumen and trend awareness
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of the customer
