Are you a commercially driven professional with a strong technical background in electrical systems, instrumentation, and renewable energy? We're looking for a dynamic Technical Business Development Consultant to drive growth, manage agent networks, and secure project-based opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities in the renewable energy market
- Build and manage relationships with agents, contractors, EPCs, and key clients
- Identify and secure project-based business opportunities
- Provide technical consultation on electrical systems and instrumentation solutions
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
- Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
Personal Attributes:
- Proven experience in business development / sales within the electrical, instrumentation, or renewable energy industry
- Strong technical understanding of solar, battery storage, inverters, switchgear, control systems, or related technologies
- Ability to engage with engineers, contractors, and decision-makers confidently
- Existing industry network advantageous
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
