Electrical Project Manager Capital Projects
Roster: Flexible 8 days on / 6 days off or 4 days on / 3 days off, with some work-from-home flexibility after onboarding
Location: Phosphate Hill site (FIFO) - Departing Townsville - Connecting flights available to Cairns, Brisbane.
About the Role
As the Electrical Project Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering high-voltage (HV) and other electrical capital projects across the Phosphate Hill processing and chemical plants. You will be responsible for leading electrical project execution from planning through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position requires close collaboration with mechanical leads, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate complex project packages and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical project delivery across all stages: scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and handover

Manage HV electrical projects alongside other electrical scopes, ensuring alignment with site safety and operational requirements

Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project progress and resolve issues proactively

Monitor project risks, compliance, and quality assurance to uphold safety and regulatory standards

Track and report on project timelines, costs, and milestones to project management and stakeholders

Support broader capital project efforts by assisting in electrical components of multidisciplinary packages
What You Will Need

Proven experience delivering electrical capital projects, preferably in mining, chemical, or heavy industrial environments

Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and associated project requirements

Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
