We are currently recruiting for multiple roles within the lodge team:

  • Assistant Management Couple

  • Guide

  • Front of House

Available Roles & Key Responsibilities

1. Assistant Management Couple

Role Overview: Support the Lodge Manager in day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee guest services and operational delivery.

  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate lodge staff.

  • Assist with scheduling, rostering, and operational coordination.

  • Handle guest feedback, queries, and special requests.

  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards across the lodge.

Requirements:

  • 35 years experience in luxury lodge management or hospitality supervision.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a remote, wilderness environment.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

2. Guide

Role Overview: Deliver immersive and educational safari experiences, blending wildlife knowledge, safety, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct game drives and walking safaris.

  • Ensure guest safety and comfort.

  • Educate guests about wildlife, ecology, and conservation.

  • Support conservation initiatives and track wildlife when needed.

  • Maintain safari vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:

  • FGASA or equivalent guiding certification preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years professional safari guiding experience.

  • Deep knowledge of wildlife behaviour and tracking.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.

  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.

3. Front of House

Role Overview: Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless first impressions and personalised experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out processes.

  • Handle guest queries, reservations, and special requests.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and guiding teams.

  • Maintain professional standards and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • 24 years experience in luxury hospitality guest services.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional, friendly, and proactive approach.

  • Flexible and able to work in a remote lodge environment.
